Adventures at Mt. Zion!

We are on our 2nd day here at Zion National Park! We've been busy, busy! We camped next to a couple from Vegas, who were super avid outdoorsy type people. They suggested tons of trails, hikes and bike routes to take. Every time we opened the camper door they would ask us, "what are you going to do today", or "what did you do today?". Talk about pressure! It was like having a drill sergeant outside of our door! It kept us going! So we took most of their suggestions and now are bodies are paying for it! Haha! It was great though. Beautiful hikes, and lots of wildlife! We definitely worked up appetites everyday! Thankfully they headed home to Vegas today!! We can now relax! Unfortunately, relaxing will not include a fine bottle of wine. Here in Utah they still are following Mormon rule of no booze on Sundays! Yikes! Fortunately we have a few cold beers left! Better drink them indoors!

Tomorrow we move on. Heading in the direction of Bryce Canyon with a couple stops along the way!

Bye for now!

Pu'rus Trial. The only trail that allows dogs!
Snack time!

Our bike adventure! Took the shuttle up, and rode the 10 miles down!
Our personal trainer! Also named Jennifer! What a great name!
One of the many ponds along the "Emerald Pond Trail".

  1. There is something to that "no booze" rule. I laid on the couch 1/2 the day on Sunday - too much wine on Saturday night. I wish I had been out riding my bike with you. I like those new-found exercise buddies of yours, sounds like my kinda people!
    Happy Monday, Tammy.
